It has been a great day, after going out for my early morning run I prepared my fish cakes for my sisters barbecue. Before leaving for the barbecue we managed to take in the Olympic Torch Relay which happened to pass by the bottom of our road and it was fantastic. Maybe if I get the chance I’ll post some pics!
Here’s a Bajan recipe I found for fish cakes. It is not one I’ve used as I tend to make it up as I go along but I may try to be more precise next time. I notice they don’t add Turmeric but I use some for colour and if you don’t have pepper sauce you could be brave and add some hot chilli’s or for the really brave a Scotch bonnet, enjoy!
